It’s that time of the year again!
I don’t know about you, but one of my favorite holiday traditions was digging into my loaded stocking on Christmas morning. My parents would stuff our stockings to the brim with candy and other treats but the best part came after the presents had been opened when I could sneak around and also eat my sibling’s stocking stuffers while they were distracted with new toys. Obviously, I was not a scrupulous child when it came to free candy buffets:D
Now that I am so much older and wiser I no longer filch candy but I do still love the tradition of Christmas stockings. For me, this craft is a fun, grown-up way to keep all those memories close at heart:) Hope you like it!
You will need:
2 cute Christmas stockings (I got mine from Target)
Thread in complimentary color
To be honest, I free handed the stockings that I embroidered but if you’d like more precise results then begin by using a sewing marker to write out “Mr.” and “Mrs.” on the stocking’s cuff.
Thread your needle…
and stitch away!
Happy Holidays to you, darling Reader:)
